Sustainable packaging solutions at FACHPACK
From 23rd till 25th September 2025, the packaging industry will be meeting at FACHPACK in Nuremberg. The manufacturers Hastamat and LoeschPack will be presenting their sustainable packaging systems at their shared stand 1-243.
The focus at the European specialist trade fair focuses on trends and developments in the packaging industry. In this day and age in which space and resources are becoming increasingly scarce, machines with a small footprint are becoming more and more important. Hastamat and LoeschPack are focussing on packaging solutions which are tailored specifically to this requirement. "With the compact machines from Hastamat and LoeschPack, we provide our international customers with a sustainable solution which combines economical and ecological benefits. In the process, we help them to work more efficiently, save space and act in an environmentally friendly manner at the same time", says Olaf Piepenbrock, Executive Partner at Hastamat, LoeschPack and parent company Piepenbrock.
Machines with a small ecological footprint
The packaging systems from Hastamat and LoeschPack are designed to minimise the ecological footprint. They impress with reduced emissions, durability and a low personnel requirement. With their compact construction, the machines can even be integrated into production units which are at near capacity, where space is scarce. That reduces costs for larger halls or storage spaces. Straightforward processes for transportation and installation reduce the CO₂ emissions in logistics and set-up.
Vertical form, fill and seal machine for every requirement
At FACHPACK, Hastamat will be showing the specialist audience a sustainable packaging system with doy style bags made of paper-based, recyclable material. The RM-270 vertical form, fill and seal machine with hygienic stainless steel enclosure is engineered for versatility. It packages fresh and frozen food and non-food items flexibly in accordance with customer requirements. The machine can be reset to the respective product in an instant. In the process, it processes all formats and bag shapes - including recyclable wrapping material. Different dosers and special applications can be integrated simply. The unit, made up of a machine enclosure and control cabinet, makes maintenance easier and makes for fast cleaning. The machine impresses with its speed of 220 bags per minute.
