interpack 2026: Hastamat shows innovative systems for various packaging steps

06/03/2026, Lahnau

Feeding, weighing and packaging products

As one of around 2,800 exhibitors, Hastamat will be presenting their innovative packaging solutions at this year's interpack in Düsseldorf. From 7 to 13 May, the German machine manufacturer will be demonstrating how various products are placed efficiently and precisely in the packaging – at the joint stand with sister company LoeschPack in hall 14, C22.

At interpack 2026, Hastamat will be providing a number of insights into the company's range of packaging solutions. Alongside a joint packaging line with LoeschPack, the specialist from Hesse will be presenting innovative machines and systems for feeding, weighing and packaging high-quality products. "Hastamat stands for individual packaging systems which are continuously growing with the demands of the international customers. With creativity, innovation and decades of experience, the manufacturer not only develops individual systems but also complete lines and customer productions", says Olaf Piepenbrock, Executive Partner of LoeschPack, Hastamat and parent company Piepenbrock.

Versatility meets tubular bag performance

With the RM-270, Hastamat will be introducing a vertical form, fill and seal machine - convincing allrounder - to the specialist audience. At interpack, the machine will be demonstrating the packaging process with a flat bag with integrated zip lock. The RM-270 packages fresh and frozen food and stick-shaped products, snacks and crackers, cookies and sweets. In the high-speed range, it forms, fills and seals up to 250 bags per minute. In the process, the machine processes different bag shapes, including those with recyclable wrapping materials. Combining this machine with different add-on aggregates also makes it a flexible partner in production. The format can be removed and reset easily. "Thanks to its modular stainless steel design, the machine meets the high demands of the food industry. The special hygienic design reduces retooling and cleaning times, and thus increases the availability of the machine", explains Thoman Bornemann, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hastamat.

High-speed technology for sticks and snacks

The RM-120-HS is a space-saving packaging machine for sticks and snacks. With its innovative technology, it is engineered for speed and continuous production. The servomotor-driven transfer system makes sure that a large number of products are packaged with a high overall output. The machine processes up to 170 bags of aligned sticks in an upright position and up to 250 bags of bulk goods per minute. When a film roll has been used up, the integrated auto-splicing system performs an automatic roll change. "We ensure a continuous packaging process with sophisticated technical details", Bornemann underlines. Machine operators can adjust the format flexibly and in a straightforward manner. A self-diagnosis tool with OPC-UA connection provides support for maintenance. At interpack, Hastamat will be showing the benefits of this machine combined with the stick version of the CP-16-S multi-head weigher.

Efficient multi-head weigher for wet areas

Hastamat will be presenting a further combination weigher from the CP series with hygienic design. The multi-head weigher is specifically engineered for fresh and frozen food and operation in the wet area. The special design for stick products can even be used, for example, to align and dose salami stick with a length of up to 220 millimetres. The motor-driven system counts and weighs products with the highest precision – gently, hygienically and cleanly with up to 220 weighing procedures per minute. Incorrect weights are ejected automatically. A specially adapted product transfer station can be combined with different downstream packaging systems. In addition, it processes different types of products which are combined in a multi-chambered tray. Each component is placed precisely in its own chamber so that even product mix trays can be implemented unproblematically. The weigher not only impresses with output but also simple handling and flexibility. A separate control cabinet can be positioned outside the product area. This reduces cleaning work and provides operating staff with optimum access to the weigher. The format change is performed in the shortest time. In the process, all the parts which come into contact with the product, can be changed without tools.

Maximum precision for sensitive stackable chips

With the stackable chip packaging line, Hastamat will be showing a further highlight at the trade fair stand. The revolutionary machine concept of the SCA series packages stackable chips fully automatically – hygienically, reliably and efficiently. The servo-controlled system unites feeding, dosing and filling of the packaging. In the process, the system solution processes brittle products in a weight range of 25 to 200 grammes particularly gently. A unique weighing technology facilitates exact-weight dosing without give-aways or product waste. When it comes to can or jar sizes and shapes, the SCA proves to be flexible. Even a combination with trays is possible unproblematically. Likewise, when it comes to cleaning, the system is designed to be user-friendly. All parts which come into contact with product can be removed without tools and cleaned quickly. "Whether it's for 24 lanes, two or three blocks: thanks to the flexible design, we can adapt the system specifically to the production situation of our customers – even when it comes to formats and packaging types", Bornemann explains.

Flexible counting system for a wide range of products

Hastamat will be presenting a packaging solution for all industrial areas with its high-performance counting system for sensitive products, for example chocolate-coated products of wafer rolls. The items are conveyed to the modularly arranged counting stations by timing hoppers, bucket conveyors, feed chutes or belts. The combination of sensor technology and an ejection system adapted to the products guarantee that only flawless products are packaged. After feeding, the ZA-series system counts and doses the products gently and with an exact count – up to 70 dosing procedures per minute and lane in tubular bags, cans, jars or trays Different feeding, accumulating and transfer devices can be combined flexibly. At the same time, the system can process different stick-shaped products with different dimensions by simply replacing the format parts. The modular construction provides ideal prerequisites for adjustments to all output ranges.
